Die Chaos Walking Reihe hat mich mehr mitgerissen als ich erwartet hätte. Von Band zu Band steigert sich die Geschichte, die Ereignisse überschlagen sich und es werden so viele interessante Thematiken angeschnitten… von allen dystopischen Reihen im Jugendbuchbereich, die ich bisher gelesen habe, hat mich diese am meisten mitgenommen. Beim Lesen von The Ask and the Answer und Monsters of Men sind mir immer wieder Lieder eingefallen, die für mich so gut zur Geschichte gepasst haben, dass ich sie nebenbei einfach hören musste – aus diesen Liedern setzt sich dieses Mixtape zusammen.
