Der Leseplan hat erstaunlich gut funktioniert und ich konnte eine ganze Reihe von Büchern von meiner Leseliste streichen. Zwischendurch habe ich die Kurzgeschichten auf tor.com für mich entdeckt, wodurch die Anzahl an gelesenen Titeln im ersten Moment sehr hoch aussieht… vielleicht erfasse ich demnächst lieber die tatsächlich gelesene Seitenzahl? Apropos Seitenzahl: mit 45.519 gelesenen Seiten habe ich mein Jahresziel von 45.000 bereits überbieten können. Für die restlichen 60 Tage dieses Jahr möchte ich probieren es etwas ruhiger angehen zu lassen.

Zwei von drei Monatszielen für September habe ich geschafft: die Fairyland Reihe ist angefangen und die nächsten Bände bestellt, sowie eine handvoll Gedichtbände gelesen. TFv1 ist zwar nicht geschafft, aber ich bin mittlerweile ein ganzes Stück vorwärts gekommen! Die letzten gut 200 Seiten sollten im Oktober wirklich machbar sein. Das Thema der gespaltenen Persönlichkeit hat sowohl in Ich und mein anderes Leben und Fragile Line eine Rollte gespielt – Bücher über bzw. mit dieser Thematik würde ich gern noch häufiger lesen! Sky Saw war so konfus, dass ich die Bedeutung des Textes nicht greifen konnte, Desolate voll von Verachtung, Misshandlung und Folter. Dagegen hat Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer meine Erwartungen weit übertroffen, und die Sehnsucht nach Paris und Versailles wieder geweckt. Alles in allem war September wieder ein sehr durchwachsener Monat, gerade die Leseexemplare haben alle nicht wirklich überzeugen können. Der Oktober hat bereits begonnen, und ich glaube, dass dieser Monat viel gutes bereit hält ♥
